If you are looking for an old world charm experience, The Cliff at Lyons hotel in Kildare, Ireland is the place for you.

Big luxurious rooms, with an unexpected mix of modern and traditional, are exceptionally special.

Because the weather was literally perfect while we visited Ireland and during our time at Cliff at Lyons, we were able to leave the windows open all night and could hear the calming bubbling of the fountain.

As you walk the property at Cliff at Lyons, they have wonderful little pockets of surprises. I personally loved the gift store with high quality goods and a product line of their own.  You can take a part of Cliff home with you!

The most noticeable aspects of the Cliff at Lyons is the canal with a walking path. You can even fish! The canal was the first distribution method of Guinness Beer (vitally important to Ireland and Irish history). The owner of Guinness even lived near the canal.

And, finally, the spa, oh the spa: it is something else. I mean look at it! The huge fireplaces, the comfy wool blankets; a place where you can easily spend an entire day (or two)!
