What made this Wedding so special?
Well, let’s talk about the fact that it’s 2020 and nothing has gone quite as planned. Originally, this Wedding was suppose to be at Mohican. Because of Covid-19, it ended up in her backyard. Meredith, the wedding planner, helped totally redesign the wedding FOR the backyard. As you can tell from the photos, she nailed it.
What was the most memorable moment of the day?
At one point during the night I had walked away to get a photo. When I came back to the dance floor, I saw the bride had walked her ass straight into the center of the dance circle and drop right into the splits. We were dying. She was “giving the people what they wanted”.
Were there any sentimental moments?
I cried the entire wedding. Her mother had passed of cancer and while she couldn’t physically be there, there were so many pieces of her. Emily’s mother was a big gardener and had landscaped the house. She loved tree houses and sunflowers. She also used to play piano and one of the last songs she played was somewhere over the rainbow. I made sure to try and get those extra special pieces.
What was your favorite part about this couple?
EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM. They were the most genuine, lovable, people. They are also characters which I love. The more personality the better and this place was just FILLED with it.
