What made this Wedding so special?

Well, let’s talk about the fact that it’s 2020 and nothing has gone quite as planned. Originally, this Wedding was suppose to be at Mohican. Because of Covid-19, it ended up in her backyard. Meredith, the wedding planner, helped totally redesign the wedding FOR the backyard. As you can tell from the photos, she nailed it.

What were your favorite moments?

The moment I showed up to her rehearsal dinner and she looked at me and said “I never get my nails done, I panicked and ended up with pink. Why did I end up with pink?”

We connected on a spiritual level at that moment. I never know what color to get on my nails and I always end up with the one I hate after 2 days. Okay, so that wasn’t my FAVORITE moment, but it was the moment I knew it was going to be a good one.

The entire day was just so fun.I felt like I was just hanging out with my girl gang all day. They were super fun, would always end up busting moves. I walked away from the dance floor and came back and Emily was on the ground full splits. I guess she got in the middle of the circle and mic-dropped like that.

Were there any sentimental moments?

I cried the entire wedding. Her mother had passed of cancer and while she couldn’t physically be there, there were so many pieces of her. Emily’s mother was a big gardener and had landscaped the house. She loved tree houses and sunflowers. She also used to play piano and one of the last songs she played was somewhere over the rainbow. I made sure to try and get those extra special pieces.
