Why did they pick this location? Megan’s parents actually lived in Mexico. That is why they chose to go there.

How long on average does it take to sort through and pick the final photos?
Oh man, it can take awhile. I usually shoot around 3k photos!!!
Did you get to explore Mexico at all or strictly business? Oh yeah, I got to explore Mexico! I LOVED it. We actually took a 4 hour bus ride over to the coast to see Puerto Morelos.

What was the most memorable part of this shoot for you?
With this one it was more about the full experience. What I love about destination weddings is the fact that you really get to know all the guests before actually shooting the wedding. What happens is you get to know them as people so when you are behind the camera it isn’t as awkward for them and makes the photos way more genuine. One of my favorite people on this trip was her uncle. He came up to me at the airport and was like “I came to fucking party”. The airplane dropped while we were in the air like a rollercoaster and he was like “Yeah, that was like mother nature’s T bag”. I just died. I love ridiculous characters.
